There’s Rodeo Weekend — and then there’s Rodeo Weekend in Oakdale.

Saturday morning at 9 AM sharp, the Cowboy Capital of the World comes alive for one of our community’s favorite traditions: the Oakdale Rodeo Parade.

Downtown fills with families, friends and rodeo fans as horses, cowboys and cowgirls, marching bands, classic cars, local businesses, community organizations and plenty of western spirit make their way through town. Leading the celebration is the year’s honored Grand Marshal, kicking off a morning that is unmistakably Oakdale.

This isn’t just a parade. It’s generations of Oakdale tradition coming down F Street.

Find your spot along the route, bring the kids, wave to your neighbors and enjoy the sights and sounds of a town that takes its western heritage seriously — and knows how to celebrate it.

Parade Route: The parade begins on West F Street at Gilbert Avenue, travels east along F Street toward South Maag Avenue, and concludes at the Save Mart Shopping Center.
