A Crown. A Tradition. A New Chapter in Oakdale Rodeo History.

Before the chutes open and the dirt starts flying, one of the Oakdale Rodeo’s most treasured traditions takes center stage — the crowning of the new Oakdale Rodeo Queen.

Join us at the Oakdale Cowboy Museum as we celebrate the remarkable young women competing for the honor of representing the Oakdale Rodeo.

But make no mistake — this crown is earned.

Throughout the competition, Queen candidates are judged on horsemanship, public speaking, ticket sales, photography, and their ability to proudly represent the western heritage and traditions of the Oakdale Rodeo.

The woman crowned Oakdale Rodeo Queen becomes far more than the face of Rodeo Weekend. She becomes an ambassador for Oakdale’s western way of life, representing our rodeo and community at rodeos, parades, and special events throughout California.

The Coronation takes place during the Cowboy Museum Mixer, running from 5–7 PM, making Thursday evening the perfect way to kick off the celebration before Rodeo Weekend.
