Where Rodeo Week Gets Local.

Before the pros take center stage, Oakdale’s own cowboys get their shot at the arena.

Tuesday night’s Local Team Roping is a longtime Rodeo Week tradition that puts the spotlight exactly where it belongs — on the cowboys and ropers who call this area home.

These aren’t strangers rolling into town for the weekend. These are local competitors from within 50 miles of Oakdale, saddling up for cash, a coveted belt buckle and something that may matter even more around here:

Come out to the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo Grounds, grab a seat and watch some of the best local talent go to work.

And spectators get in FREE

ROPER REQUIREMENTS

Competitors must live within 50 miles of Oakdale and may not have held a PRCA card within the last five years.
