SUMMARY:CA Team Roping Association
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for three action-packed days of fast horses\, skilled ropers\, and western tradition as the California Team Roping Association (CTRA) returns to the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo Grounds for an exciting Labor Day Weekend competition. \nAs the oldest team roping organization in the United States\, the CTRA has spent decades preserving one of rodeo’s most respected events while providing competitors of all skill levels the opportunity to compete\, improve\, and carry on the traditions of the American West. Team roping is the only rodeo event that requires two riders working together with precision\, timing\, and trust—making it one of the most exciting events to watch. \nWhether you’re a seasoned roper\, a lifelong rodeo fan\, or experiencing team roping for the very first time\, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable weekend of western competition\, outstanding horsemanship\, and family-friendly entertainment. Watch talented headers and heelers from across California and beyond compete for top honors while celebrating the western heritage that has made Oakdale the Cowboy Capital of the World. \nBring your lawn chair\, your cowboy hat\, and the whole family to experience one of the premier team roping events of the year. From the first steer out of the chute to the final run of the weekend\, the CTRA Team Roping Weekend promises great competition\, great people\, and an authentic western experience you won’t want to miss. \nWhere teamwork meets tradition—and every run tells a story.
